HOMELAND UNIVERSITY: GO TO COURT INSTEAD OF PROTESTING TO STATE GOVERNOR.

The Founder and the leader of Biafra Independence Movement and Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (BIM-MASSOB) Chief Dr Ralph Uwazuruike has revealed the names of Families that sold their lands to his organisation in 2010.

Uwazuruike who revealed this while reacting to a protests by few individuals who claimed to have come from Umunna in Onuimo Local Government Area, Imo state, where Homeland University and Homeland University Teaching Hospital is being built by BIM-MASSOB

Uwazuruike in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Social Media Matters, Comrade Emma N. Nnadi, noted that his organisation follows every due process and internationally recognised way of acquiring landed property before the land was handed over to them in the presence of late Eze Okonkwo.

The statements reads in part:

1:Umunamu Owerri Okwe has no communal land.

2. Only about 10 families have land where the University is located.

3. MASSOB bought the land from these ten families witnessed by Late Eze okonkwo.

4. That some Politicians sponsored the recent protest by the villagers.

5. That ten different agreements 
where signed between the families and MASSOB.

6. That Umunamu village has nothing to do with the land belonging to individual families.

7. That the purpose of the protest was to blackmail Chief Uwazuruike by envious local politicians.

8. That protesting to the Police, Army, DSS Governor and House of Assembly was not the only option available to the villagers if indeed their land was taken from them unlawfully by Uwazuruike and MASSOB.

Uwazuruike also out listed the names of the ten families that sold their land to MASSOB in 2010 and signed agreement with Uwazuruike as witnessed by late Eze Okonkwo.
He noted their names as:
1. Evaristus Isikaku
2. Tony offorha
3. Joseph Armu
4. Lewy K Obi
5.Donatus Obi
6. Albert Agarakwe
7. Mercy Anusionwu
8. Emmanuel Uzowuru
9. Ferdinand Akaneme
10. Nicholas Nwosu
